Try it yourself: from planning data to one overview.
A fictional cell therapy site, a workforce ramp-up and one overview. Add variables, rules and constraints and see where the plan breaks.
Workforce ramp-up planner
Build a ramp-up plan, one block at a time
Built for your site. Every Klentz tool is custom-made around the client’s own data, roles, rules and constraints, using the SAP, MES and planning files you already have. This demo shows the principle on a fictional site.
Add building blocks
The simple site below meets its plan. Add a block, watch the overview react, then change its value. Real sites have hundreds of these, and the overview stays the same.
Batches per quarter: demand plan against what the site can deliver
Each period is limited by whichever runs out first: suite capacity on the current shift pattern, or qualified people in any role. The plan is calculated month by month; the quarterly view adds the months up.
Qualified people against need, per role
Each cell shows qualified headcount over the headcount the period’s batches need; in the quarterly view it is the tightest month of the quarter. Red cells are gaps. Trainees count only once they are qualified, unless the trainee rule is switched on, and new hires wait when there are not enough experienced colleagues to train them.
Client inputs and planning rules
Every value starts from the client’s input and can be changed to test an idea: the monthly plan, roles, shift patterns, training approaches, rules and site constraints. Add roles and constraints as needed. Results update straight away.
In build mode, changes here last until you add or remove a building block.

Tools we build
One way of working, many kinds of overview
Each tool is custom-made around the client’s own data, roles and rules. These are examples of what we build. Yours will look like your site and answer your questions.
Workforce ramp-up planner
Can we staff the plan in time?
Demand, shifts, hiring, training and site constraints in one model, with gaps and bottlenecks month by month and a written roadmap to close them.
- Demand plan
- HR headcount
- Training records
- Shift plans
Schedule to roadmap
What actually matters in this 3,000-line schedule?
Turns a detailed project or production schedule into a one-page roadmap: phases, milestones, critical path and the dates at risk. It updates when the schedule changes.
- MS Project
- Primavera
- SAP PS
- Excel plans
Capacity and bottlenecks
Which step limits our output, and what would raise it?
Throughput per process step, equipment and lab, the limiting step in each period, and what-if testing of shifts, equipment and lead times before you invest.
- SAP / MES batch data
- Equipment calendars
- QC lead times
- Batch records
Project portfolio board
Where do our CapEx projects stand, and what needs a decision?
Every project on one page for the steering committee: schedule and budget status, top risks, and the decisions due, built from the data project managers already keep.
- Project schedules
- SAP budgets and actuals
- Risk registers
Automated status report
Can the weekly report write itself?
Status and KPI reports generated on schedule from your planning and manufacturing data: the same structure every week, and hours of copy-paste saved.
- Planning files
- SAP
- MES
- Deviation and CAPA counts
Something else in mind? If the data exists, the overview can be built. By default, tools are built as decision support within your approved systems and data policies. Working with GMP-impacted data? That is possible too, with scope and validation agreed with your QA from the start. Get in touch to discuss your case.
